For sixteen years, BRAVE for Veterans, Inc. has turned student talent into real impact — advancing legislation, strengthening Veteran services, and supporting smoother transitions into civilian life.

Today, the needs are changing fast. AI, automation, and economic uncertainty are reshaping the workforce that Veterans and their families are entering. BRAVE is stepping forward with the next generation of solutions.

The 2025 MA Veterans Quality of Life Commission’s Annual Report recommended that BRAVE and its graduate and undergraduate student Fellows help shape policies that affect more than 255,000 Veterans across Massachusetts, and their future employment needs. Our partnership with the Brandeis University Computer Science Department is powering new research on AI and the future of Veteran readiness. Fifteen BRAVE Fellows are already preparing to lead this work.
